Palm kernels recovered from the mill are separated from shell and fibre before moving to kernel-crushing operations. Where RSEC-linked or contracted facilities include kernel crushing, the resulting Palm Kernel Oil can form part of an origin-controlled production stream.
RSEC may also procure PKO from qualified third-party producers and suppliers. Own/linked production and purchased PKO can then be consolidated into separate dedicated or contract-controlled tanks, subject to quality, segregation and commercial nomination requirements.
