Palm kernels are recovered separately from the fruit-processing line after nut cracking and separation. They form a distinct commercial stream from crude palm oil.
Depending on the transaction, kernels may be sold as a product or moved onward for crushing into palm-kernel oil and related value chains.
SEPARATIONKernel recovery is kept distinct from shell and fibre streams.
QUALITYCleanliness, moisture and foreign-matter controls affect downstream suitability.
VALUE CHAINKernels can move to qualified crushers or commercial buyers depending on the sale structure.
